Dead broccoli and live guinea pig covered in cheese? Cannot comment on the pudding - words fail me. A path lab experiment gone very wrong. Keep well ETM
Ian, that's what I thought, either that or the hospital kitchen has got a reciprocal arrangement with the SFX department(Cheap SciFi Team) at Pinewood.
is it a lasagne, or a creeping amoeaba? At least the custard has a sense of humour - it is smiling!! so glad to see you up and about. It must feel very strange. At least you can get down to shops if there are any in the hospital, and get something that has not been cook killed
My standing up may look impressive but I have to have a physio behind me holding on to some very short reins. I think it will be a while before I can walk out of the ward than down to the hospital shop.
WOW! What can I say? After so many weeks in bed you made it up! Fantastic! It may have been hard but it will get better, eventually! Honest!
As for the food, well, can you really refer to that as food? I am not convinced. It definately looked like it was crawling off the plate! You have my sympathy!
Keep up the good work and soon, very soon, you will be home with Mrs exTM and getting real food!! YAY!
Hmmm looks like one of those strange creatures they photograph at the bottom of the ocean and which blunders about in the dark most of the time. As for the thing under the custard, looks like a loofah.
Oh wait! There's a theme! Ugly marine creatures. With custard. And broccoli (well I SAY broccoli but we all know it's been boiled to death).
Bet you're as perky as a perkily perky thing, having got out of bed today. One step at a time etc. Not long now.
Well done TM. You've done absolutely brilliantly. :-)
alas, my fears come to fruition ... the kitchen know who you are now and, well, revenge can be sweet. It looks like they saved this 'stuff' for when your identity is known.
On a plate or did it walk?
ReplyDeleteTTFN,
Michael :)

ReplyDeleteIt looks like it's trying to crawl towards the edge of the plate. I'd watch it very carefully if I were you.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, what is it, was it alive, did you swat it dead, that is seriously scary stuff on your plate,
ReplyDeleteAliens have landed. On your plate.

ReplyDeleteps good to see you up and about.
mmmm just thought, if the SFX department (Cheap SciFi Team) were asked to personify a bone/flesh-eating infection for a major role...........

Main Course = some leading actor of Men in Black? Could be... And the dessert is his sibling.
ReplyDeleteSomething from the back lot of Farscape before it got cancelled? Jeez.
ReplyDeleteIt's a yellow colour scheme again, I see...
ReplyDeleteSoooo what was it then!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat was supper. See the previous post to view the panino I had to eat at lunchtime.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely looks like a small body under the cheese blanket. I like the smiley face custard though. A yellow day again. More tumeric??
