More slacking

Sorry, everyone... but it's another day and another hospital. This time it's the recalcitrant leg that's being manipulated, twisted, x-rayed, poked and prodded. My life is a full and busy one; I have no time for work. Anyway, that's my excuse for light blogging. It's a 60 mile drive to the hospital (that's a long way in this overcrowded and gridlocked island) so it may be later today before I am back online. In the meantime, why not enjoy yourself with this little tale of everyday life in the National Health Service...

Makes you proud to be British, doesn't it?

  3. Good luck with the journey. I assume the weather is better with you than in Central Scotland just now. We have SNOW! YAY! I am just glad I can spend the day at home with the offspring rather than have to fight with the snowbound roads.

Hope the leg is well! Is the Xray yours????? If so, WOW!

    Stay safe!

  4. Horrible journey, hope it goes OK. And the rest. On the bright side, your Isle of Man readership has gone up by 4 people. And Cameroon to 2! Yeh. x

  5. Just finished with the doctor. I'm hypertrophic delayed union. Hopefully that's a good thing. Bone is growing well and I need to come back in two months. Not bad progress.

I see my readership in Albania now stands at one.

  7. i was really worried when i saw that x ray - for one awful moment i thought you were back to square one again! as for the staffordshire news story, it makes me feel so embarrased for those managers who are so obsessed by hitting targets, and for nurses who are not caring enough to do basic nursing, and no amount of pressure should stop you from doing that - especially if you lack compassion and empathy

  8. T man...me thinks you are a pussy...stop blogging because you have to go to a hospital 60 miles away? You should be letting us all know what a shitty time you're having the whole time! You don't have this blog thing down at all!
