Dinner is served

Friend Richard had the slow roasted lamb with garlic mash for his evening meal. Looks very nice. Unfortunately I didn't get to taste it as he'd scoffed the lot before I got there. Still, good private hospital grub. Mind you, those carrots look a little unwieldy.


  1. I can't help but notice the little glass salt & pepper shakers... How luxurious! Best we get in Oz is a tiny sachet...

    OK,so it doesnt score high points for 'Masterchef' presentation.

    But it has that yummy homestyle look about it and nothing like the plastic fare supplied to the hoi polloi.

    What was the mash? Parsnip or something?
