More hospital

No post today as I decided to take the day off to visit the gastroenterologist to see if we can't track down the hideous streptococcus that started all this nonsense off last February.

  5. Still no firm ideas on how a bug got into my blood and settled in my leg but digestive system could be the most likely candidate. My case is so unusual it's virtually unknown. We may never know but the good news is that most of my blood results came back today looking very good.

  6. excellent news TM, I am very happy for you. Still very curious how you got the bug in the first place. Does the bug have a type name and has it been discovered in anyone else in the world ?

  7. Hi Ness... It was streptococcus milleri. Not rare but rare in doing what it did with the bone. It was left too long doing it's work.
