Another update

Things seem to have settled down and I'm healing well. A combination of sore leg, antibiotics and painkillers isn't really making me feel great right now but it's good to be feeling a bit better. Once again, thanks for all your kind wishes and I'll try to get back to posting as soon as I can.

  2. Look after yourself xtm. You have kept me going through a full year of illness. At least it should be warming up for you now, while we pull out the winter woollies.

    Yo XTM!
Sounds all good, resting up. Probably feels a slow process but time helps.
Had to have a bit of a giggle at my colleague in Brissy, talking about the winter woollies. I guess you get acclimatised to wherever you live in the world, but the average low temp overnight in Brisbane for years past is listed on the bureau site at 9.5C, average daytime high 20+C

OZ is a big place, the temps down here in Melbourne quite a lot colder in these months.

They say about Melbourne 'four seasons in one day' ( Crowded House song title also- the writer of that song lived here )which is true- sunshine one minute, hail and pestilence the next.

    Think happy thoughts, best wishes,

    Chris in Melbourne
