Just a quick note to say the doctors have decided to operate on me again to put a plate and pins in my leg. Hopefully this will get me walking again and lengthen my leg a little. It's progress but it does mean going back to hospital... not for very long, I hope!
Thanks for all your concern and best wishes.
TM
Good luck - I don't think the traditional Theatre luvvie phrase quite appropriate.
ReplyDeleteAt the risk of being Un PC may I offer to say prayers for your speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteAll the very best for a speedy recovery, don't let the food get you down.
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well, no complications, etc. and you are home with your loved ones ASAP.
ReplyDeleteI would like to wish you a speedy and trouble free Op and recovery from Yachydda.co.uk and its readers/listeners.
ReplyDeleteHope the operation goes well and this hospital stay doesn't have any dramas! Also, don't be afraid to ask the nurses and doctors if they've washed their hands before they examine you, it's how bugs get around (unwashed hands, I mean) and there are posters all over the hospitals in Sydney telling patients that it's ok to ask medical staff if they've washed their hands.

Dear ETM
ReplyDeleteWith all best wishes from Cats' Mother and the Chelsea Gang - sending you good luck from my three black monsters.
I think that the timing is right for this - there has been a lack of progress for far too long which is unhhelpful to say the least!
Love and luck - Cats' Mother x
XTM, I really hope the operation is a success and improves your recovery.
ReplyDeleteOn the plus side, does this mean we get to play food bingo again?
Take care XTM and I really hope your stay in hospital is short and uneventful.
Good luck mate ... you'll be dancing again soon or at least playing the violin :-)
ReplyDeleteHope it all goes well, and that it's a short stay in hospital. If I knew where you were, I'd bring in food parcels for you :)
ReplyDeleteLet's hope there's no more Traction involved! Good luck ETM!!
ReplyDeleteVery best of luck, you need it! Such a long journey to recovery, hopefully this will be it.

Good Luck, As Pam says give us your location and we'll organise the food convoy!!
ReplyDeleteRob
Hope that things go well and that you are soon back blogging regularly. I miss you.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck, As Pam says give your location and I can post a weekly delivery of Manx Kippers, that's only if you like them of course, break fast in your hospital would never be the same again, but then if your not partial they could also be used as bribes.
ReplyDeleteWould you mind if I posted you on a very large prayer circle that covers most of Europe, it's non denominational.
Best of luck and get better soon, it is about time they came to their senses and got the leg pinned up.
ReplyDeleteDon`t forget to pack the camera, I think we all miss the food bingo.
Ness..
All the best, TM. I hope this visit is a bit less traumatising than the last, and that the op succeeds.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely take that camera!
Good luck and good lunches (and breakfasts and dinners). Thinking of you and ETM family, take care and return to us soon.
