Another photo from Daniel showing how dire hospital food can be. I can only assume that Australia has imported its hospital chefs from Blighty. We've done a few bad things to Australia over the years but they never deserved this. Time for reparations?
Could it be, could it possibly be? Yes, yes, yes!
ReplyDeleteA scoop of spaghetti from the forty four gallon drum accompanied by an extremely nutritious skin, oozing with breadcrumbs and fat. Yum.
Mind you Perth WA is a destination of preference for our chums from the UK. It's the weather you see. Coupled with the fact that it's a long way from Sydney.
I think the Brits like Perth because of the food. Home from home, by the looks of things.
ReplyDeleteOh Yumm tinned spag and a mystery package (snag) don't worry about reparations, we'll just take the Ashes back again :-)
ReplyDeleteYikes - don't think that the slightly charred finger can be re-attached.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday to all.
Greetings from Cats' Mother in freezing London.
Finger, eh? I thought it was something rescued from the sluice room!
ReplyDeleteDon't be nasty, I am sure there are lots of children for whom that represents a normal supper!
ReplyDeleteIt's hardly a decent meal for someone with cystic fibrosis. I don't understand medics. They wouldn't give patients second-hand drugs or use dodgy x-ray machines, so why do they not give a toss about the food fed to their patients? It doesn't make sense.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the medics don't have time to eat, so a dollop of spag and a burnt sausage would seem a feast.
ReplyDeleteHi TM - just wondering how you are these days? I hope your leg is better and you are out and about - I may have missed reports on your health.......
ReplyDeleteAll the best

I'm well, thanks. Getting more mobile and definitely feeling a lot better. Not totally fixed yet but well on the way.
ReplyDeleteXTM
That's really good news TM - this has been such a long saga for you and your family. I am so glad you are so much better now. Hope you are not too cold there - the pictures from the UK show so much snow........
ReplyDeleteHere there are floods.....
