Friend Richard had the slow roasted lamb with garlic mash for his evening meal. Looks very nice. Unfortunately I didn't get to taste it as he'd scoffed the lot before I got there. Still, good private hospital grub. Mind you, those carrots look a little unwieldy.
I can't help but notice the little glass salt & pepper shakers... How luxurious! Best we get in Oz is a tiny sachet...

ReplyDeleteBut it has that yummy homestyle look about it and nothing like the plastic fare supplied to the hoi polloi.
What was the mash? Parsnip or something?
